Privacy Policy

This notice constitutes the Data Processing Policy of the operator (hereinafter: the Operator) of the websites kanizsa-apartman.hu and kanizsaapartman.com (hereinafter: the Website). It contains essential information about the processing, handling, and storage of the personal data of visitors to the Website (hereinafter: the User), as well as the Users’ rights in this regard and how they may be exercised.

The data protection policy complies with applicable data protection laws and was created in accordance with the following legislation:

3. Legal Basis, Scope, Purpose, and Duration of Data Processing

3.1 Legal Basis of Data Processing

Pursuant to Section 5 of Act CXII of 2011 on the Right of Informational Self-Determination and Freedom of Information, the legal basis of data processing is the User’s voluntary consent.

3.2 Scope of Processed Data

The User is not required to provide any personal data to use the Website.

During the use of the Website, the User’s IP address, the start and end time of the visit, and, in certain cases—depending on the User’s device settings—the browser and operating system type are recorded. These data are automatically logged by the system. The Operator does not link the data contained in the log files to other personal data and uses them exclusively for the development of the Website.

The Website provides a Message Sending form through which the User may send a message regarding the Website, its content, or the services provided. When sending a message, the User must provide their name, e-mail address, and phone number.

By sending a message, the User voluntarily consents to the processing of their data.

The Website may place cookies on the User’s device in order to facilitate identification and future visits. The User is informed about this when first visiting the Website.

Cookies are stored on the User’s own device, and the User has full control over them. If the User wishes to delete or disable cookies related to the Website, they can do so in their browser settings or by clicking the appropriate disable button on the Website’s Cookie Information page.

3.3 Purpose of Data Processing

The Operator uses the data provided by the User solely to provide a higher level of service, in particular for:

  • responding to the User’s questions or requests for quotations and, if necessary, clarifying them later

  • developing the content and services of the Website

  • further optimizing the Website to better suit Users’ needs

The data provided by the User are recorded in an internal registry accessible only to the Operator’s staff. The Operator does not use the data for purposes other than those stated above. Personal data are only transferred to third parties with the User’s prior informed consent, except where disclosure is required by law.

3.4 Duration of Data Processing

The Operator may process the data provided by the User (name, e-mail address, phone number) until the User requests deletion, or in the event the User declines an offer received from the Operator, in which case the data will be deleted without delay.

Messages received via the Website may also be stored in the administrative “Responses” module, depending on system settings. These data are stored for 12 months, after which they are automatically deleted from the system.

4. Data Security Measures

Data are stored in Hungary on dedicated, secured servers located in the server facilities of Rackhost Zrt. Regular backups are made, which are fully encrypted and uploaded to the Google Cloud data center within the EU.

The Website is protected by an HTTPS certificate, ensuring that messages sent through the Website cannot be intercepted.

5. Amendment of the Privacy Policy

The Operator reserves the right to amend this Privacy Policy. The current version is always published on the Website. Users are encouraged to check the Website periodically to stay informed of any changes.

6. Rights of the Data Subject

The User may request information about the processing of their data, obtain a copy of the processed data, and request the correction or deletion of their personal data via the Data Controller’s contact details. Corrections or deletions will be carried out within 5 working days of receipt.

The User may object to the processing of their personal data in cases defined by applicable law.

7. Legal Remedies

Users may file a complaint with the National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH):
